FLORENCE

The historic center of Florence is closed to traffic and surprisingly compact. The majority of sights can be easily reached on foot so visitors do not need a car. SAN GIMIGNANO

San Gimignano and its famous towers , thanks to their location, domain the beautiful Val D’Elsa hill. Site of an Etruscan village during the Hellenistic period (III – II century ), San Gimignano , that took its name from the Bishop of Modena city , had first a fast growth in the medieval period , but then from 1348 it had to face a long crisis because of a terrible plague that characterized the following centuries. Just after a long period and thanks to its incredible beauty, San Gimignano regained its prestige that makes the city one of the most important artistic place in the world.
CHIANTI

The Chianti countryside, a particular Tuscan area located on the beautiful hills between Florence and Siena, offers one of the richest wines of Italy, the Chianti classico, and an unique gastronomic experience. The old Chianti’s district, as Ferdinando III called this area, includes wonderful centres like Gaiole, Radda and Castellina in Chianti where you can admire evocative landscapes and long vineyards.
SAN MINIATO

San Miniato is a discrict, with 30.000 people, in the Pisa province.
The old town is located on a strategic position, on a beautiful hill near Arno, halfway between Florence and Pisa; San Miniato was land wars between this two cities.
Place of dioceses, San Miniato is a important economic and industrial center of the leather and it is famous for its white truffles. The original city core dates back to the seventh century.
VINCI

Vinci is a discrict with 15.000 people, in Florence province.
It is Leonardo native city and here there are “Biblioteca Leonardiana”, international center of Leonard studies, and Leonardian Museum, a collection of Leonardo's models of inventios. Visited, every year, from 1300 people, the Leonardian Museum is one of the most visited and important museum in Tuscany.
In Vinci there is also the Leonardo Da Vinci Ideal Museum for deepen the figure of Leonardo, his art and scitentific ideas.

MONTECATINI TERME

Montecatini Terme is a city with 20.000 people in Pistoia province, Tuscany. It is the most important center of Valdinievole and the city is located to eastern extremity of Piana di Lucca and it has a touristic, economic and industrial soul for the important Spa.
Montecatini Terme is a touristic place, specialized also in the trade and services. The industry and the agriculture have a marginal rule.
LUCCA

Beautiful and very nice, Lucca is a most visited and famous place in Tuscany. The city is limited in 4 km of walls and they are the symbol of Lucca.
In the sixteenth walls, the old town preserves his little streets and caracteristic squares, with medioeval homes and Renaissance palaces.
